Coaching Is About You
You’ll set the agenda for our sessions. We will work together on the key questions: What are your needs, goals, and possibilities? From there we'll explore your circumstances more deeply, bringing good sense and inspiration to your decision-making.
Conversations will be completely confidential. There will be no gimmicks, only genuine progress toward concrete goals.
Our discussion will take place by phone or audio/video chat, whichever best suits the needs (audio often works quite well). We will talk for an hour each time. By the end of the session we'll discuss concrete steps to keep momentum toward the next meeting.
Why Coaching?
Time is scarce. Reflection seems a luxury. It is harder than ever to find others with the objectivity and experience to help you work through decisions.
A good coach fills that gap.
Coaches are trained, non-judgmental listeners who stay with your thinking and give timely feedback to help inform your next steps.
Once considered a leg-up for senior executives, coaching has gone mainstream as life has grown more complex. Coaching is a support system that provides you with:
An accountability partner
Safe opportunities for meaningful dialogue
New perspectives and expanded options
Inspiration and motivation
Potential solutions
Next steps
Coaching is an investment in yourself. When you make the decision to work with a coach, you value yourself enough to enroll in a process that can help you become who you want to be, more quickly.
Work with Cape May Coaching
If you are open and ready to work patiently through today's dilemmas toward long-term results, then consider Cape May Coaching.
As a pragmatic idealist comfortable with ambiguity, maybe you've already witnessed your potential to bring about positive change.
Dissatisfaction is part of being human, but you seek to channel yours toward the betterment of self and others.
Although you have strong opinions, you work to understand differing views—yet you also have the right amount of "stubbornness" to hold onto your dreams through difficult times.
You understand that courage is not the absence of fear but the willingness to act despite it.
Coaching Is Not …
Coaching is not a substitute for counseling or mental health care. Coaching is a relationship designed to facilitate the development of personal or professional goals and create a plan/strategy for achieving those goals. The client is fully responsible for the decisions and choices reached during the coaching sessions.
